How Pendulink Came to Be
Pendulink started as a small bench operation in Pattaya, set up by a watchmaker who had spent years working on movements in Bangkok before deciding to open a more accessible workshop closer to the coast. The name comes from the pendulum — a symbol of measured, steady motion — which felt right for a workshop where no repair is hurried along.
The work grew gradually through word of mouth among people who had tried larger repair chains and found them impersonal. Owners of vintage pieces, expatriates with watches purchased abroad, and local collectors began bringing their timepieces in for assessments.
Today the workshop handles three service tiers — strap fitting, dial and hands refresh, and full overhaul — each carried out with the same basic philosophy: assess first, explain clearly, and do only what the watch actually needs.

Handles all strap fitting, bracelet adjustments, and case finishing work. Napat brings a careful eye to hardware details that are easy to overlook.

Condition First
No work begins without a proper assessment. We identify what is needed and communicate this before touching anything.
Proper Tooling
Dedicated watchmaking tools are used for each task. Improvisation on precision parts is something we do not do.
Safe Handling
Each watch is stored securely when not actively being worked on. We treat every piece as though it is irreplaceable.
Written Records
For all overhauls and restorations, written condition notes and scope documents are kept and shared with the owner.
Parts Sourcing
When replacement parts are needed, we source appropriate components and discuss options with you before any substitution is made.
Client Confidentiality
Details of your watch, your contact information, and any correspondence are kept private and not shared with third parties.
About Watch Repair in Pattaya
Pattaya and the wider Chonburi area attract people from across Thailand and internationally, many of whom carry watches with personal and historical significance. Mechanical timepieces in particular — whether inherited, collected, or purchased on travels — often need servicing after years of regular wear or long periods in storage.
A movement overhaul is not something that needs to happen frequently. For most mechanical watches worn daily, a full service every six to ten years is a reasonable schedule. Signs that attention may be needed include inconsistent timekeeping, resistance in the crown, moisture traces under the crystal, or general sluggishness. A dial and hands refresh suits pieces where legibility has diminished over time without any underlying mechanical concern.
Pendulink works on both quartz and mechanical movements, on watches from well-known manufacturers and less familiar ones. We do not specialise in a single brand or era, which means we can assess a wide range of pieces and give honest feedback about what is worth doing. We also work with owners who simply want the facts about the condition of a watch they have acquired, with no obligation to proceed further.
Our workshop at 59 Beach Road is straightforward to reach from most parts of Pattaya. We welcome walk-in enquiries during workshop hours and are happy to discuss any piece you bring in, even if you are unsure whether it needs work.
