Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: 15 June 2025
Effective Date: 15 June 2025
1. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions, the following terms have the meanings set out below:
- "Pendulink" / "We" / "Our" / "Us" refers to Pendulink, a watch repair and restoration workshop located at 59 Beach Road, Nong Prue, Bang Lamung, Chonburi 20150, Thailand.
- "Services" refers to strap and bracelet fitting, dial and hands refresh, complete overhaul and restoration, and any related work carried out by Pendulink.
- "Client" / "You" refers to any person who enquires about, books, or receives Services from Pendulink.
- "Agreement" means the agreement formed between Pendulink and a Client when a service is confirmed by both parties.
- "Work Order" means the written scope or condition report describing the Services agreed for a specific watch.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting a contact form on our website, visiting our workshop, or engaging our Services in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Our Services are available to individuals aged 18 and over. By engaging with us, you confirm that you are of legal age and have the capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
3. Service Description
Pendulink offers three categories of watch repair service:
- Strap & Bracelet Fitting — resizing, link adjustment, and strap or bracelet fitting (฿3,500).
- Dial & Hands Refresh — dial cleaning and, where agreed, re-luming or hand replacement (฿10,900).
- Complete Overhaul & Restoration — full movement service, case and seal work, with written condition report (฿32,700).
Services are performed at our workshop in Pattaya, Thailand. We do not currently offer postal watch reception.
4. Service Scope and Changes
For overhaul and restoration services, a written Work Order is prepared following our initial assessment. No work begins until you confirm the scope in writing or verbally.
If, during the course of work, we identify issues outside the original scope, we will pause and contact you before proceeding. We will not extend work or cost without your agreement.
You may request changes to the agreed scope at any time. Where work has already been performed, costs incurred to that point are payable regardless of any subsequent change.
5. Client Responsibilities
When engaging our Services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about the watch and your contact details
- Confirm that you are the lawful owner of the watch or have the owner's authority to engage Services
- Collect the watch within 30 days of notification that work is complete
- Make payment in full prior to or at the point of collection
6. Payment
All prices are quoted and payable in Thai Baht (THB). Prices stated on our website and in any Work Order are inclusive of labour. Parts costs, if applicable, are stated separately in the Work Order.
Payment is due upon collection of the watch. We do not require a deposit for most services; for overhaul and restoration work, we may request a deposit at the time of scope confirmation.
Uncollected watches: If a watch is not collected within 60 days of completion notification and no contact has been made, we reserve the right to charge a storage fee at a rate of ฿500 per month from that point. We will make reasonable attempts to contact you before applying any such charge.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, layout, and images — is the property of Pendulink or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website for commercial purposes without our written permission.
8. Disclaimers
Watchmaking services involve working with complex mechanical and electronic components. While we take every care, we cannot be responsible for pre-existing faults or damage that was not apparent at the time of assessment.
We do not make representations about the ongoing accuracy, water resistance, or longevity of any watch after service. The suitability of any watch for particular uses is for the owner to assess.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable Thai law, our total liability to you in connection with any service shall not exceed the total amount you paid for that service.
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses arising from our Services, including loss of sentimental value. This does not affect any rights you have under Thai consumer protection law that cannot be excluded by contract.
10. Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us in the first instance at [email protected] so we can attempt to resolve the matter informally.
If a matter cannot be resolved informally, it shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Chonburi Province, Thailand.
11. General Provisions
These Terms, together with any Work Order, constitute the entire agreement between you and Pendulink in respect of the relevant service. If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remainder continues to apply.
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision. These Terms may not be assigned by you without our written consent.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our Services following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
